PWC sings of the tragedy of war and our hope for peace. Works include Erhöre mich (Hear me), composed by Heinrich Schütz in 1636 during the Thirty Years War; the haunting Reflections on Yad Vashem by Daniel Hall, impressions evoked by a visit to the Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem; the stirring Be It Therefore Resolved, Joan Szymko’s setting of a poem by Kim Stafford; as well as pieces by Abbie Betinis, Moses Hogan, Dianna Robin Denis, Matthew Levine, Mitchell Covington, and Allan Naplan.
