Faure's Requiem was composed in D minor, Op. 48, from 1887 to 1890. The choral-orchestral setting of the shortened Catholic Mass for the Dead in Latin is the best known of his large works. The St. Mark's Chancel Choir, soloists, and orchestra ensemble will present this work with other selections for the Lenten season.
